Reminder, we are now on summer uniform. You may wear your shorts, polo shirts and sandals (romans or birkenstocks). If you have sandals on, you cannot wear these with socks.

You may also wear full formal winter uniform if you wish (black shoes, trousers/ia faitaga, shirt + tie).

Remember, we don't 'mix and match' winter trousers with summer polo shirts.

Cultural Day

Next Tuesday (October 27) is cultural day. On this day we celebrate all of the different cultures we belong to. It is a non-uniform day where you can wear clothes from your culture.

There will also be a cultural shared lunch for those who wish to participate. If you would like to bring a dish form your culture to share, you need to see Mr. McGrath before Friday October 23.

SBC Values - Term 4 Week 1 Summary

Positive Recognitions

In Term 4 Week 1 there was a total of 351 recognitions given to 203 students from 20 tutor classes by 15 members of staff.

The top tutor class was 7CL with 50 recognitions.

The top student was Aaryan J who received 8 recognitions - well done!

The top house was Chanel with 99 recognitions.

Weekly focus value - LOVE OF GOD – Being thankful

Last week staff focused on giving SBC Values recognitions to students for exhibiting their Love of God by being thankful.

A total of 27 recognitions were given to 25 students. The students with the most recognitions for the focus values last week were Lucas Y and Aaryan J with 2 positive recognitions each. Well done Lucas & Aaryan, collect your canteen voucher from Mr McGrath.

LOVE OF GOD - Participating in Prayer appropriately

This week staff will focus on giving SBC Values recognitions to students for exhibiting their Love of God by participating in prayer appropriately.

The student with the highest number of recognitions for the weekly focus will win a canteen voucher - which can be collected from Mr McGrath.
